On Senegal’s west coast, Cap Skirring is a wonderful place for playing golf and discovering the country. Situated by a 1700-yard stretch of coconut tree-lined beach, visitors can discover the real Africa, with guided mountain bike tours taking in traditional Senegalese villages in the Diola area. Four-wheeled adventure is also easily accessible, with quad driving across the Savannah and 4x4 excursions into the bush.

The Resort
Cap Skirring is in the South of Senegal, lying drowsily in the shade of a coconut grove along the edge of a fine sandy beach. The natural materials, primitive frescoes and thatched roof bungalows dotted around this tropical garden create a serene and typically African atmosphere in the Resort. The Resort is also greatly appreciated for its 9-hole golf course*, part of which runs along the sea shore, and for its catamaran trips. A typical day is made up of long, relaxing swims, excursions* and Club Med Fitness activities.

Beach
A superb beach of fine white sand over 1,500 yards long. The sea floor is sandy and the water is shallow at the edge, with waves that make swimming a real joy. The beach is equipped with deckchairs, showers and a beach bar. Hammocks are available in the coconut grove running alongside the beach.

Parks & Gardens
Gardens of fromager, coconut palms, ronier and calbassier trees, with a few baobabs, flamboyants and traveller's palms and a variety of other magnificently colourful species. A superb coconut palm grove runs the length of the beach.

Accommodation
Resort made up of one-storey bungalows, divided between the coconut plantation and the gardens. Some bungalows are located by the beach, separated by dense and lush vegetation. The Resort has 205 rooms.

Le Diola
Right by the beach, this speciality restaurant proposes a beautifully exotic setting, evenings only. Booking compulsory, certain evenings only, at Reception. Waiter service.

Bars:
Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort.

Located on the beach, by the coconut palms, this bar has a true touch of the exotic. Its terrace is the perfect place to take a break any time of day.
