Sant’ Ambroggio is an ideal base for exploring Corsica, with a number of sports academies covering hiking, snorkelling and scuba diving. Excursions include a tour of the traditional villages of the Balagne area and a cruise around the Scandola nature reserve.

The Resort
Suspended halfway between sea and sky amid the calm of the maquis scrubland humming with cicadas, lies an estate overhanging a rocky headland surrounded by clear water: welcome to Sant'Ambroggio. The coastline between Calvi and Ile Rousse has a myriad of inlets like pearls along a necklace of beaches. The hinterland is full of Corsican treasures, making this a hiking as well as a sailing paradise, but you can also choose to spend your days at a lazier pace, comfortably installed on one of the solarium deckchairs at the sea's edge or by the pool, surrounded by a hedge of umbrella pines.

Beach
Just down from the Resort, a small, fine sandy beach 90 yards by 40. The sea bed is a little rocky, so sandals are useful for getting into the water. Public beach some 300 yards from the Resort.

Parks & Gardens
The Resort is in a unique setting between the mountains and the sea. The gardens are planted with laurel trees, mimosa, roses, pine trees, acacia and numerous perennial plants.

Accommodation
With 291 rooms located in bungalows spread throughout the grounds amid luxuriant vegetation, the Club Med lies on a rock overlooking the town and its marina. The bungalows have an upstairs floor, with no lift.
Club Room
An elegant and comfortable Club room, situated on upper or ground floor level of the bungalows. Additional options include a Family Club Room, consisting of 2 rooms on ground floor of the bungalows, or a Sea View Club Room, the most beautiful room in the Resort, beautifully peaceful, with a sea view from your furnished balcony.

Delicious, creative cuisine and impeccable table art. Our chefs pull out all the stops to ensure you have a fabulous and entertaining meal.
La Citadelle
This hillside restaurant with a view over the sea, marina and pool welcomes you for all your meals with a great variety of dishes from the buffet. There is a Baby Zone where parents can prepare meals for their little ones. The restaurant terrace is a smoking area.

Bars:
Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort.
Drinks included (served by the glass and in the bars only) - Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and/or international spirits, wines. Sweet and savoury snacks

Close to the swimming pool, this bar is open during the day, with a vast pergola that allows you to make the most of the Corsican climate.

Sailing Academy - Included in your package
The Sports Academies propose the best equipment and facilities for sailing enthusiasts. Beginners and advanced sailors alike will be able to enjoy their sport in the best possible conditions.

Scuba-diving Academy - Optional Extra*
The Sports Academies propose the best spots for Scuba diving enthusiasts, so they can enjoy their sport in the best possible conditions.
Scuba diving requires specific training and technique, so this Sports Academy proposes courses* only, to ensure that participants gain the maximum benefit. Beginners and experienced divers alike will be able to enjoy their sport in optimum conditions.

• The crystal clear waters are rich in reefs, multi-coloured fish and wrecks. A few examples of diving spots:
• "Tropicana", between 5 and 20 metres (16 - 65 ft), near Algajola. You can see barracuda, corba fish, saupes and girelles.
• "La Revellata", between 12 and 40 metres (40 - 130 ft), is one of Corsica's most beautiful diving spots close to the Revellata nature reserve. It is populated with groupers, denti, moray eels, barracuda, corba fish, saupes and girelles.
• "Benoît's Grotto" is a magnificent cave 40 metres (130 ft) deep, covered with red coral. You'll see denti, moray eels and lobster.

Children & Teens
Our Resort welcomes children of all ages, with children’s club facilities for the various age groups, run by professionals.

Creativity and energy. At this age, children have a thirst for everything. The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities.
Children are divided into age groups. One-hour shower break before dinner.
Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to under 18) - Included in your package
Freedom and fun for teenagers. Proposed during the school holidays, it's a Club Med classic, with youngsters divided into 2 different age groups. Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A free and exclusive spirit that youngsters adore. The Juniors' Club Med® enables teenagers to meet and take part in activities of their choice; in their own individual way, they get involved in life at the Resort.

BABY-SITTING
To enjoy a moment of total freedom, take advantage of the baby-sitting service, subject to availability. Information at Reception. These outside service providers bear the entire responsibility for the services they provide; the Club Med provides the contact but has no resposibility for the service.
CLUB MED BABY WELCOME® (FROM BIRTH TO UNDER 2)
We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of parents and babies. Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby feeding room (cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, Baby Zone equipped to prepare babies' meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant. Spare pushchairs also available if required.
PLAYGROUND
The playgrounds independent from the children's club facilities are open to young children accompanied by their parents.
