On Brazil’s Atlantic east coast, the resort of Trancoso is a haven of relaxation for golf lovers. The resort has its own golf academy for novices and experienced players, and a dedicated spa offering a range of treatments.

The Resort
Discovered by a Portuguese sailor in 1500, Trancoso has lost nothing of its authenticity. Far from the most frequented tourist destinations, with its thatched bungalows, the Resort is a haven of tranquility perched atop superb cliffs. Down below, a long sandy beach runs along the ocean's edge, a fabulous view that can also be enjoyed from the neighbouring golf course*. In this fabulous natural environment you'll see sloths clinging to the branches and multicoloured parrots, both equally at home in this wild and tranquil blend of Brazilian life.

Beach
A beautiful public beach of fine sand (one of the best in Brazil), about 14 km (8.5 miles) long, with palm trees and a variety of vegetation. The beach is equipped with deckchairs, parasols, showers and a beach bar.

Parks & Gardens
Tropical gardens with coconut palms and mango trees and vast expanses of lawn. Ornamental ponds and subtle lighting.

Accommodation
Resort with 250 rooms all located in bungalows: 8 small 2-storey buildings divided into two areas in a beautifully preserved environment. They are small, brightly-coloured buildings with thatched roofs that blend in well with the area's natural beauty and ambience. - The bungalows in the central quarter are the Ondas and Conchas - The garden bungalows are the Areias, Estrelas, Golfinhos, Cabalos and Peixes.
Club Room
The Club Room is a vast, tranquil room where you can enjoy the magic of Brazil at an unbeatable price. The Family Club Room is in a fabulous location in the heart of the gardens or the central bungalows, between forest and sea. Also available with interconnecting rooms.
Deluxe Room
Between forest and sea, these bungalows in the centre of the Resort are in a fabulous location. Inter-connecting rooms also available.

This Resort has "Table Coup de Coeur" status, awarded to the Club Med's best restaurants. Our chef and his team offer top quality service, a memorable gastronomic experience and a feast for the eyes. For example:

With its intimate atmosphere of quiet refinement, this speciality restaurant is open in the evenings only for a delightful end to your day with family or friends. Reservation only, at Reception. Waiter service. This is a non-smoking restaurant.
BABY CORNER special service
This baby corner, in the Resort's main buffet restaurant, provides a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing your baby's meals.

The Terravista Golf Club proposes tuition and services for all levels of play. NEW This Resort has children's club facilities (Petit Club Med®* inspired by the theme of nature, to demonstrate the pleasures of living in harmony with nature, and satisfy the children's natural curiosity. In bungalows reminiscent of native Indian dwellings, the children (aged from 2 to under 4) have a great time as they explore the wealth of the region's plants and history.
For information: the children's and teens clubs are open all week, except Sundays.

Petit Club Med® (from 2 to under 4) - Optional Extra*
At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision. It's the age of first discoveries, so Petit Club Med proposes early learning activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day! The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends.
For information: The adult accompanying the child must be able to show that he or she meets the minimum vaccination requirements for children (child health record or medical certificate). Nappies and baby milk are not provided by Petit Club Med®.
Mini Club Med® (from 4 to under 11) - Included in your package
Creativity and energy. At this age, children have a thirst for everything. The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities. Children are divided into age groups.
Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to under 18) - Included in your package
Freedom and fun for teenagers. Proposed during the school holidays, it's a Club Med classic, with youngsters divided into 2 different age groups. The Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A free and exclusive spirit that youngsters adore. The Juniors' Club Med® enables teenagers to meet and take part in activities of their choice; in their own individual way, they get involved in life at the Resort. Located next to Reception.
BABYSITTING
To enjoy a moment of total freedom, take advantage of the babysitting service (subject to availability). For information: we provide a list of babysitting services on request. These outside service providers bear the entire responsibility for the services they provide; the Club Med provides the contact but has no responsibility for the service.
CLUB MED BABY WELCOME® (FROM BIRTH TO UNDER 2)
We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of parents and babies. Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby feeding and equipment room (cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, baby corner equipped to prepare babies' meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant. Spare pushchairs are also available if required.
PLAYGROUND
The playgrounds independent from the children's club facilities are open to all children, accompanied by their parents.
