Beside the swimming pool, Marc Hertrich has designed a beautifully contemporary lounge bar. The Spa*'s stylish environment and treatment rooms have been refurbished, inspired by the refined elegance of Balinese architecture, a haven of serenity in a tranquil green paradise. The Resort's new restaurants offer the promise of idyllic moments for the whole family under the shade of an exotic pergola.

Beach
About 150 yards from the Resort, the public beach is about 550 yards long, and has a defined swimming area. The upper part of the beach is fine yellow sand, while the lower part, visible when the tide goes out, is scattered with rocks. Swimming is recommended while the tide is coming in, as the reef is completely exposed at low tide. The beach lies between natural stone breakwaters, which protect the beaches from the waves and currents. Waves only come over the breakwaters during the spring and autumn tides or storms. The reef (200 yards) just opposite the Club Med Resort has a surfing spot (Matahari Break) with superb left-break waves for surf lovers. The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and bamboo parasols. There are also bales (small Indonesian-style shelters) with cushions.

Parks & Gardens
Bougainvillea, hibiscus and imposing tropical trees such as banyans, traveller's trees and frangipani make up the lush natural decor of these 14 hectares of gardens. Numerous ornamental lakes, lilies and lotus flowers add a suitably exotic note.

Accommodation
The Club Med Resort of Bali has 393 rooms located in five buildings of 1 to 3 stories designed in traditional Balinese style architecture using wood and natural colours: Flores, Sumba, Java, Lombok and Madura.

The Agung
Elegant décor for this restaurant that offers a selection of dishes from all over the world for all your meals. There is a magnificent view over the gardens thanks to its location on the 1st floor of the main building. The international cuisine served from the buffet includes local specialities. Our chef and his team also prepare a daily selection of low-calory dishes. Parents can use the Baby Corner to prepare meals for their little ones.
The Batur
For dinner, this local speciality restaurant offers you flavours from around the world for the pleasure of the eyes and the taste buds. Booking compulsory, at Reception. Waiter service. This is a non-smoking area. Snacks served for late breakfast and during the day.

Bars:
Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in all our Resorts.

Petit Club Med® (from 2 to under 4) - Optional Extra*
At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision. It's the age of first discoveries, so the Petit Club Med proposes early learning activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day! The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends.
For information: The adult accompanying the child must be able to show that he or she meets the minimum vaccination requirements for children (child health record or medical certificate). Nappies and baby milk are not provided by Petit Club Med®.
Mini Club Med® (4 to 10 years) - Included in your package
Creativity and energy. At this age, children have a thirst for everything. The Mini Club Med®’s vocation is to satisfy their boundless energy and curiosity. Activities include sport, games and creative activities. Children are divided into age groups.
Juniors' Club Med® (from 11 to under 18) - Included in your package
Freedom and fun for teenagers. It's a Club Med classic, with youngsters divided into 2 different age groups.
The Club Med offers everything but imposes nothing. A free and exclusive spirit that youngsters adore. The Juniors' Club Med® enables teenagers to meet and take part in activities of their choice; in their own individual way, they get involved in life at the Resort. Proposed throughout the year.
BABY-CORNER
This Baby Zone, in the Village's main restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment for preparing your baby's meals.
BABY-SITTING
To enjoy a moment of total freedom, take advantage of the baby-sitting service, day or evening.

We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of parents and babies. Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby care room (cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, baby corner equipped to prepare babies' meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant. Spare pushchairs are also available if required.
PLAYGROUND
The playgrounds independent of the children's facilities are open to children accompanied by their parents.
